An event hosted at Sandylands Community Sports Hub, used to raise money and awareness on men's mental health month. Football teams composed of people from local businesses enjoyed a day of fun and football with activities accessible for children to experience. Donations from larger commercial companies such as Morrisons and Tesco meant that the day was filled with extreme support and enthusiasm.

This event was held on June 21st and was beneficial for the local community and businesses around the area. People from companies across the town gathered together to create a day worth remembering and help the causes that are in need of recognition. These causes being NHS Charities, Children with Special Educational Needs as well as raising awareness for Men's Mental Health and Children with autism and ADHD. This campaign is suitably referred to as 'Kicking For a Cause'. For people indirectly involved such as the non competing footballers, activities such as a raffle, stalls, family fun, food and drinks, and music were all available and offered to the local citizens at Sandylands.

Overall this day was an excellent step in the right direction for recognises and raising awareness for the causes that deserve to be recognised. Fantastic day for everyone involved!
